We are growing our team in Thessaloniki (City Centre, Mitropoleos 110) and are seeking Java
Developers from graduate entry up to senior level. As a Travelfusion Developer, you will join
our dynamic team responsible for the development and maintenance of our software
applications. Our work is interesting and engaging working with airlines and leading travel
companies and affords lots of opportunities to expand your knowledge and experience. To be
successful, you should be able to work and communicate well with others, be enthusiastic and
proactive. Technically, you will have knowledge of J2SE programming, understanding of web
architectures and database skills. Your experience in Java will include software design
principles and familiarity with algorithms and data structures.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

• Java SDK / J2SE
• Proactive attitude
• Ability to own projects, work both independently and in an agile team, with rapidly changing priorities
• Knowledge of algorithms and data structures
• Understanding of common OO design patterns
• Spoken and written English for all communication with colleagues and customers

Desirable Skills and Knowledge:

• Computer Science background or degree
• Commercial core Java experience
• Experience of working in a fast paced startup environment
• Database knowledge & experience (SQL, schema design, JDBC)
• Understanding of network / web technologies (HTTP, HTML, XML)
• Working knowledge of Javascript and Node.js
• Ability to develop clean, self-documented code as part of a team
• Ability to write clear technical documentation
