Teracloud Greece is the newest branch in our global organization counting over 300 employees in seven different countries around the world. We are in the process of building the best R&D Hub in the heart of Athens. We have already set assail for a challenging and aspiring journey to stir the software development waters in Greece. We are looking for experienced backend web developers to join our R&D Hub and work on cutting edge technologies in operating systems that have a huge impact on major enterprises globally.

Principal responsibilities:

• Design, build and deliver the backend components of a cloud-based query and reporting tool for enterprise databases.
• Design and implement a REST API layer to communicate with the frontend components.
• Collaborate with the product owners and customers to understand their needs and help address them with the product.

You will be contributing to a global engineering team endeavor, which requires self-organization skills and teamwork abilities. It is important that you are detail oriented and have business acumen to understand and prioritize tasks, set goals and meet deadlines. You will work in an agile environment, so it is important that you have knowledge of CI/CD principles and an agile mindset.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Java development experience.
• Solid understanding of relational databases, such as Db2, Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL
• Experience in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and their services, such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, or Cloud SQL.
• Experience in designing REST API.
• Competency in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
• Eagerness to work in a full-stack, collaborative environment.
