Your main responsibilities

  • Oversee all employees during set-up, service and customer service for each meal
  • Check and/or correct the flavour, presentation, correct temperature of foods and portions prepared before and during meal times
  • Order all supplies required daily from the storeroom, following arrangements with the Sous Chef
  • Provide continuous vocational education and training to all employees
  • Check the food cost in relation to the budgets, as provided by the administration of the resort
  • Oversee and supervise the hygiene and maintenance of all food preparation areas, equipment, freezer rooms and storerooms

 

Your main qualifications/skills

  • Previous work experience as Chef de Cuisine in a 5* resort
  • Culinary Degree
  • Up-to-date knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes in addition to sanitation regulations
  • Excellent organizing and leadership skills
  • Fluency in English (verbal)
