Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Associate - Analyst to join our team. As an Associate - Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing market trends, operational data, and financial metrics to provide actionable insights that optimize business operations. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of the hospitality landscape, strong analytical skills, and the ability to translate data into strategic recommendations.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain complex financial models, to project detailed cash flows and forecast. investment returns, both for investment and asset management decision-making.
• Perform in-depth financial analysis and model the impact of returns either to the business or within the portfolio.
• Participate on the monitoring, valuation and management of on-going investments.
• Evaluate investment opportunities and perform recommendations.
• Assisting on creating and implementing business plans, financing, exit strategies, strategic planning and reporting.
• Monitor performance of specific initiatives and key metrics to be delivered, to achieve the business plan.
• Support the execution of investment strategies including NOI maximization and value-added initiatives on hospitality investments.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting materials for investors, as well as ad-hoc proposals and performance updates to internal investment committees.
• Review capital commitments and distributions related to real estate investments, as well as monitor debt covenants and debt compliance.
• Conduct research on the hospitality sector and monitor key market, industry and competitor data, contributing towards qualitative and quantitative analysis of broader workstreams.
• Complete various financial, accounting, administrative and other analysis and duties as assigned or necessary for the successful executions of the business plans.
• Contribute to the development of the business, identifying internal improvement opportunities, to drive effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Hospitality Management, or related field.
• 2-4 years’ experience in an analytical role within Real Estate, Investment Banking, Big 4, Private Equity, Consultancy, Real Estate Developer or Hospitality.
• Strong qualitative analytical skills, having the ability to research, analyse and present complex financial data.
• High level of proficiency in Excel and Power Point.
• Very strong financial modelling skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare and explain financial data to business leaders, managers team members and investors.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships across all levels of the organization.
• Self-motivated and proactive with a proven ability to perform in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, coping with changing priorities.
• Confident in working and addressing unstructured and new situations, taking on new challenges. Willingness to get involved in all aspects of the company.
• Positive attitude, capable of contributing to a dynamic and team-oriented culture.
• Proficiency in English and Greek. Additional European languages, especially Spanish or Italian, are an advantage.
• Demonstrable passion for real estate. Experience in the hospitality industry would be advantageous.
