Group Stores & Purchases Accounting Supervisor

(ref.: FG_SPAS 04.2024)

The Position:

Reporting to the Group Stores Accounting Manager, you will be responsible and accountable for the following:

• Preparing and uploading in SAP [modules Financial (FI)] all the necessary accounting entries especially those related with the stores transactions and goods purchases,
• Communicating (internally and externally) with all related parties for the accounting issues,
• Cooperating with the external (statutory, tax etc) and internal auditors when needed and supporting the audits,
• Meeting reporting deadlines (external and internal ones),
• Providing all necessary data for consolidation purposes as per the Group’s Annual Reporting Calendar,
• Ensuring compliance with the tax and accounting standards and regulation

Qualifications & Competencies required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
• 8 to 10 years of experience in Accounting Department
• Strong customer focus
• Good planning, organizing and priority setting skills
• Analytical thinking, problem solving & critical thinking skills
• Drive for results
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Teamwork
• Business sense
• Knowledge of SAP, BPC, Ms Office (Excel, Word)
• Excellent command of the Greek and English language, both written and verbal

Qualifications considered as an asset:

• Postgraduate degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
• Professional Certificates on Accounting or related areas
