ICAP Executive Search & Selection, on behalf of our client, a prominent Organization in the Financial Market, is currently seeking to hire a Risk Manager.

Risk Manager (Ref. 5530/RM/ESS/GR)

Role Overview:

The Risk Manager will be safeguarding assets and ensuring operational resilience within a dynamic environment.
The role requires an experienced and driven risk professional to join an esteemed financial market organization.

As a pivotal member of the team, he/she will collaborate closely with the Chief Risk Officer and various departments to identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate risks affecting their business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Contribute to the development and implementation of a robust risk assessment and management framework by developing action plans, setting milestones, and monitoring their progress aligned with the organizations business objectives, strategy, and mission.
Analyze operational processes and systems to identify vulnerabilities, enhancing operational resilience and ensuring business continuity.
Evaluate risk probabilities and impact, prioritizing risks based on their significance to the company.
Ensure effective integration of risk controls into business processes in collaboration with relevant departments.
Engage with auditors and experts to align risk management procedures with industry best practices. Ensure that the company’s risk management procedures are adopted to the Group’s needs.
Prepare, communicate, and review risk policies, procedures, and appetite of the company and the Group, under the guidance of the Chief Risk Officer.
Produce comprehensive risk-related reports to communicate the company's risk profile to key stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making.
Stay updated on international best practices in Enterprise Risk Management and industry developments to enhance organizational operations.
Actively participate in cross-functional projects to ensure accurate and timely delivery.

Candidate Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience in Risk/ Compliance roles, with focus in operational risks, preferably in a complex corporate environment/ risk advisory services organization.
Excellent understanding of Corporate Governance and Compliance.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields. Master’s degree is an asset.
Relevant Certificate/Training in the areas of Risk management/Project management is an asset.
Excellent use of English, both verbal and written.
Fluency in all Microsoft applications (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
Clear and effective communication skills along with collaboration and drive to thrive in team settings.
Solid presentation skills.
Ability to deliver quality work even when time is tight.
Effectiveness and agility, swiftly responding to changing demands.
