PeopleCert is currently looking for a Sitecore Team Leader (Head of Websites) to lead our Sitecore development team. This role involves both hands-on development and management responsibilities. The successful candidate will oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of Sitecore applications while leading and mentoring a team of developers.
As a Sitecore Team Leader (Head of Websites) your tasks will include the following:
- Lead a team of Sitecore developers in the design, development, and deployment of Sitecore solutions.
- Plan and manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance, including code reviews and setting best practice standards.
- Collaborate with other team leaders and stakeholders to align projects with business objectives.
- Maintain high team morale and foster a collaborative, innovative, and results-oriented environment.
- Handle performance reviews, hiring, and training of new team members.
- Continue to perform hands-on Sitecore development as needed.
What we look for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certified Sitecore developer with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in Sitecore development, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
- Strong project management skills and experience leading development teams.
- Expertise in .NET, C#, ASP.NET MVC, and SQL Server.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of developers.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to mentor others.
- Excellent command of English is required (C2 level certification desired, LanguageCert C2 LTE or C2 IESOL certificate would be a plus)
- Excellent computer skills, digital skills, project management skills and ECDL certification will be considered assets.
Nice to have:
- Prior experience in managing cross-functional teams.
- Advanced certifications in Sitecore and project management methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
- Knowledge of additional web technologies and frameworks is a plus.

Working on Home Office (HO) Secure English Language Tests (SELTs)
Any person who is engaged by PeopleCert to work on the SELT service must undergo a Background Check (the results of which must be acceptable to PeopleCert and the HO) prior to commencing their SELT duties. All SELT personnel will be required to complete a declaration (provided by PeopleCert) where the existence of any criminal record and/or bankruptcy must be declared.
If working on the SELT service in the UK, background checks will include:
- A basic or enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check
- Right to Work in the UK check (including nationality, identity and place of residence)
- HO security check (Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) or Counter Terrorist Check (CTC)
- Financial background check
- Employment reference check.
- If working on the SELT service anywhere in the world (outside of the UK) personnel will undergo background checks that are equivalent to those stated for the UK.
In addition, if personnel are required to speak to SELT candidates they must be appropriately skilled in English language and, where SELT services are provided anywhere in the world (outside of the UK), the official language of the relevant country.
