The role
As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be part of the Business Intelligence team within the Engineering department, providing analytical support that will significantly impact the decision making capability of other roles within the company. You will apply your skills in processing and analyzing big volumes of data to address business questions and maximize campaign effectiveness.
A suitable candidate should be passionate about solving problems by using data and applying analytical thinking, and similarly enjoy designing and building efficient data management solutions.
Main Responsibilities
● Work closely with the commercial teams to design reporting solutions, as well as design and analyze performance optimization experiments.
● Cooperate with data engineering teams, to assist in the design of our Business Intelligence infrastructure and Data Warehouse solution.
● Build and maintain data transformations/ pipelines, as well as online reports / dashboards.
● Produce ad-hoc analyses, using raw data sources and reporting tools.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
● Degree in Natural Sciences, Technology, Engineering or other quantitative discipline.
● 4+ years of relevant work experience.
● Hands-on experience in SQL.
● Scripting, preferably in Python
● Experience in BI or ETL tools (e.g. Tableau, Pentaho, Power BI).
● Experience with Data Warehouse solutions.
Nice to have skills
● Experience working with semi-structured data
● Experience with big data analytics tools, such as Apache Spark or Impala
● Data Visualization skills
● Machine Learning
