Job description:

  • Manage and lead Finance related transformation projects
  • Review, assess and improve workflows and processes across the core Finance areas of Accounting, Planning and Analysis, Controlling, Reporting as well as  Actuarial valuation and Analysis
  • Apply leading practice around Finance processes, Technology and Service excellence
  • Lead the Finance Transformation program ensuring timely preparation of reports and financial information and deliver substantial efficiency savings
  • Work collaboratively in defining and solving problems, generating opportunities, evaluating and agreeing on improvements, related actions and responsibilities
  • Improve quality & timelines of monthly financial closing process
  • Manage introduction of IFRS 17 and other major Financial Transformation projects


Desired Skills/Experience:

You need to have: 

  • 6+ years of Big 4 Insurance Audit, Consulting or Corporate Finance experience
  • Finance experience with a multinational Insurer preferred, Actuarial a definite plus
  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or Insurance
  • Accounting qualification: CPA/ACA/CIMA/ACCA
  • Ability to lead and develop teams
  • Project management experience
  • Life or Health Insurance knowledge is a must
  • Very Good command of Greek & English, both verbal and written
