Being one of the world's largest specialty retailers, GAP as a member of MARINOPOULOS GROUP and for its new store in Attica-Thessaloniki seeks to find:


The job holder will be responsible to: 

  • Create and lead a high performance team that drives sales through achieving store results
  • Provide strong leadership to the team to execute sales generation, operational and human resources functions in the store to ensure customer satisfaction, maximum productivity and profitability, and compliance with company procedures
  • Train and develop the store’s sales associates
  • Manage the store and its employees to ensure all store sales goals are met or exceeded
  • Ensure Brand Standards and Operating Standards meet or exceed expectations to support brand consistency
  • Ensure store presentation and merchandising standards are achieved and maintained
  • Ensure maximum selling coverage during peak traffic periods
  • Conduct sales associate interviewing and selection processes
  • Ensure high quality review, assessment and feedback of sales associates  
  • Address and document unsatisfactory performance and policy violations of team members
  • Monitor, maintain and follow company policies
  • Handle store level human resources, operational and loss prevention issues when necessary
  • Ensure proper scheduling of team members
  • Interface all company departments
  • Planning, prioritizing, organization, time management, efficiency, communication, coaching, training and motivation
  • Manoeuvre around sales floor, stockroom and store office and participate in the customer service process when needed
  • Handle customers complaints


The Candidate:

  • College/University degree preferred
  • 4-5 years of management experience at the retail apparel sector
  • Excellent communication, delegation, follow-up, and analytical skills
  • Ability to exercise independent discretion and judgment in managing a fast-paced environment adapting to change with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with customers and store personnel
  • Fluency in Greek and English
  • PC literacy
