V- Italian Concepts is the exclusive global Licensee for GF FERRE eyewear, which designs, produces and distributes the eyewear collection of GF FERRE. Sales and Marketing organization are based in Athens Greece, while the main warehouse and logistics operation is based in Dubai. We are looking for an Export Area Manager

The Area Manager is responsible for managing and developing the business in the assigned area. The main objective of the role is to actively help driving sales and achieving budget targets by building and implementing sales plans for the area of competence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build Budget and Sales Plans by distributor/area;
  • Drive Sell out and achieve Net Sales and Ebit targets;
  • Build strong relationships both with distribution partners
  • Communicate and present brand values and positioning together with collections highlights.
  • Propose assortment plans in order to maximize customers’ sell-out (category management for specific key accounts);
  • Build Joint Sales and Marketing Plans with the chains in line with global guidelines ;
  • Periodically collect and analyze sell-out reports from customers and build action plans accordingly ;
  • Regular visits to customers to ensure merchandising standards in line with the agreed plans ;
  • In cooperation with the Trade Marketing Manager propose and negotiate trade and digital marketing plans ;
  • Set up the most suitable supply chain process in order to ensure the highest service level and orders fulfillment rate
  • Ensure the highest possible customer service and follow up on orders and deliveries ;
  • Assisting the Customer Service and Finance department with invoice, debit and credit note queries.



  • Account/Distributors Management with a proven track record in Luxury/fashion accessories/ lifestyle;
  • Experience in the Eyewear Industry;
  • Sales driven with the ability to expand existing business and identify/ develop new opportunities;
  • Self-starter with the ability to organize and manage own workload;
  • Confident in dealing with customers and managing all aspects of the account.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills;
  • Excellent customer relationship and negotiation capabilities ;
  • Pro-activity in identifying and converting opportunities ;
  • Analytical skills and problem solving attitude;
  • Flexibility, hands-on approach, ability to handle multi-tasks;
  • Proven record of results achieved within a structured, multinational environment;
  • Ability to work within fast growing environments and to contribute to build a new organization;
  • Entrepreneurship, innovation attitude, exceptional commitment to teamwork;
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure to seasonal and customer deadlines;
  • Advanced MS Office skills especially Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Excellent English, French, additional language will be a plus
