Summary of job requirements

Our client, a communications company based in Nicosia, is looking to recruit an experienced Head of Marketing and Sales to take on a senior management role in the company and help the agency realize their goals. The candidate will be required to handle the day to day business, marketing and sales of the company. The dual role requires the candidate to work on a wide range of brands from our network, to develop digital strategies and overlook all production and activities within the agency. Take on a leading role and work to help the team constantly be on task and produce outstanding work for our clients. An important part of this role is to produce new business leads from local and international markets, convert leads into real business for the agency. The Head of Marketing and Sales will take over the Marketing Department of the company and correspond directly with their offices in MENA and Eastern Europe to offer the best online marketing campaigns to our clients.


Responsibilities

1.Management

a)Provides leadership and assumes overall accountability for a successful implementation phase on all client projects. Oversees employee, freelance web developers and partner web developers

b)In partnership with technical leads, helps set direction for our technology practice.

c)Briefs Team Members on client strategy, communications, objectives and key messages

d)Monitors, guides and trains team members

e)Directs and supports the team with day to day account activities

f)Regularly evaluates his/her team and identify training needs

g)Motivates the team to drive innovation and pro-activity

h)Oversees daily/weekly/monthly reports to be sent to clients within agreed deadlines

i)Assesses and structures training needs and staff development (in cooperation with management)

j)Identifies opportunities for expansion of the business with existing and potential clients

k)Participates in new business initiatives as and when agreed with the management

l)Suggests promotional ideas and new products that improve client service

m)Digital comms strategies & implementation

n)Monitors client related monthly/regular invoicing

o)Responsible for the financials aspect of the company


2.Sales & Marketing

a)Create and execute long-term marketing strategies for the business

b)Generate leads from local and international markets

c)Convert leads to real business for the company

d)Cooperate with the Network to generate new business

e)Develop client strategies for a winning online presence

f)Manage the strategy and execution of paid marketing campaigns

g)Measure, Analyse and Report on all online marketing efforts

h)Optimise and consult on client websites and online presences to achieve digital goal

i)Work directly with offices in MENA and Eastern Europe to create winning campaign

j)Participate in client proposals and team brainstorming

a)Consult on best practices and latest trends

b)Develops annual budgets and provides monthly forecasts to the Finance Team


Requirements:

Fluent in digital marketing with experience in working on international campaigns

A good understanding of web analytics

Keen to learn new approaches and follows latest digital trends

Curious about the future of the web and the digital world

Able to tackle new technologies and think outside comfort zone

Quickly adapt to change

Excellent team player

At least 5 Years of experience in a digital management role

Excellent command of English (any additional language will be considered a plus)


The working hours are from 09.00 – 17.00
