An Office Assistant provides both secretarial and administrative support to professionals, either as part of a team or individually. They are involved with the coordination and implementation of office procedures and frequently have responsibility for specific projects and tasks.
Most work involves both written and oral communication, word processing and typing, and requires relevant skills such as IT, organizational and presentation skills, as well as the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure. 

  • Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies
  • Manage agendas/travel arrangements/appointments etc. 
  • Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.)
  • Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data
  • Keeping well-organised files and records of business activity
  • Interacting with clients either on the phone or in person
  • Communicating with materials suppliers and vendors
  • Scheduling appointments and events
  • organize and store paperwork, documents and computer-based information
  • Assist as requested and perform other treated duties as required 

  • Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant or relevant role
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language (oral & written) 
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office 
  • Qualifications in secretarial studies will be an advantage
  • Outstanding  communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Strong communication and organization skills with attention to details 
  • Ability to manage pressure and conflict demands and prioritize tasks and workload
